Wildflowers & Other Macro Photographs

I have always been fascinated by photographing flowers. However, I try to look for wildflowers and other small shrubs while walking on a trail. We often ignore the beauty of wildflowers and other small subjects walking in a forest or trail. Sometimes those are really beautiful to look at, after you photograph and look them on a screen. I don’t carry Macro lens. These photos were taken with my Nikon D5000 DSLR with standard Nikkor 18-55MM VR lens. These photos are taken in North West Arkansas forests during Oct, 2010. Look for subjects and get real close to them to see the real beauty in them. I hope you enjoy the photographs.

Great shots – all of them! I love to shoot close-up, too! I think it presents interesting challenges as well as opportunities! Great job.

Thanks, I also checked ur blog and loved it. I have always been interested in photography, but since last 1 year, actively moving towards professional photography after getting my fist Nikon D5000. Like you I have been blogging about my journey. Planning to go back to India in a year or so to cover the landscape of India, esp The Himalayas…
